In this context, Brazil needs to build environments conducive to the acceleration of technology-based entrepreneurship, leveraging the generation of innovative goods and services with global competitiveness.
START-UP BRAZIL In order to accelerate the development of technology-based start-ups, Start-up Brazil, which will start with a focus on software and services companies, will include structuring a network of mentors and investors, financing for Research, Development and Innovation (P, D & I), technological and market consulting, infrastructure, partnerships with universities, research institutes and incubators, articulation with large national and international companies, as well as market access and public procurement programs. Thus, this action aims to leverage the acceleration of a growing number of start-ups each year, placing new and innovative products and services in the local and international markets, connecting our technology-based companies in contact with global trends and markets, as well as Build a government partnership and private initiative for the generation of an ecosystem favorable to technology-based entrepreneurship. Target: Accelerate 150 start-ups of software and IT services by 2014, 25% of international start-ups located in Brazil.
